Since 2014, The Museum of Outdoor Arts recruits a team of 6-12 people in order to install over 35,000 plants to create a mural on the walls of the ampitheatre. This team is responsible for hand planting each in every flower by following a coded color map to bring the image to life. This summer, I was lucky to find this opportunity and bring this space to life! Through community, nature, and love of art, I was able to meet other extraordinary local artists, and plan to return to this space the following year for the next install!
